Do not fear mistakes - there are none.

The height of the melon season. The supermarket aisles an obstacle course of cantaloupes on special offer. €3.50 each in the greengrocers , €1.50 here.No wonder the small retailers are disappearing .

Overnight a huge storm. Hail clattering down chimney breasts, shutters banging, the zinc guttering chortling with overflowing rain. To our surprise neither Bob nor Sophie seem alarmed. A few quick growls from Bob and then he's back asleep. Sophie doesn't even bother waking.

This morning we find a heavy wooden  bench  and a large garden umbrella lying on top of the  pool cover. What sort of gusts must there have been ? Bob and Sophie are in PON seventh heaven picking up fallen twigs.

Wow. Nothing here, but it is very grey. It may be heading our way.

Our local supermarket has received a major facelift since we were last here. Unfortunately so have the prices. I was in shock after our first big shop. We are off to the Saturday market to see how the prices compare.

Hope you all have a good day. You may have two Wurzle Woofages on your hands by the end of it!

Wow, that must have been some storm....glad you didn't sustain any real damage.
Bob and Sophie seem to know that a storm = many more twigs to play with.
I suspect photo#4 is after a lovely PON day at the ROF.
Lovely Saturday to all of you.

As I've mentioned before, I do try to support the local growers, but sometimes the prices in the stores are too hard to resist.

Hope the pool cover wasn't damaged in your storm.

Sounds like quite the storm! All was safe and sound tucked into the PON's household....no need to be alarmed!

Did the PON proof compost fence survive?
