Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

As we park the car the autumn sun is just rising over the plane trees. Bob walks across the market square , tail high and waving, head down. He's moving with that happy, sauntering gait that says he doesn't have a care in the world. His sister trots along behind, her little legs pummeling away twenty to the dozen. She finally gives up trying to keep up with her big lug of a brother and turns her attention to chasing a fat pigeon. She lets out a brief yelp of '' don't mess with me " delight when it flutters noisily up into the rafters. By the time the pigeon has settled Bob is already at the cafe under the arcades waiting patiently for the waitress to bring him his illicit half croissant. Sunday morning contentment.

Airline lounge chairs. Quite unlike chairs you find anywhere else. Uniformly uncomfortable. The place where design meets torture. There is a coffee table book waiting to be written about them.

The airline furniture seems a bit on the garish side. With the colors in the first airline picture, I can't even imagine being willing to walk into the room!

I love the smile Bob seems to wear for his photos!

Cheers,
Jo, Stella and Zkhat

Bob and Sophie seem to be sitting most comfortably in photo no. 2, wisely avoiding any 'designer' chairs.
Bertie wants to know if they got a treat for posing in so nicely?
Cheers, Gail.

What a waste of money. I imagine the commission cost the airline a small fortune. Beyond that it demonstrates a complete lack of care for the traveller.
Hurrumph!
Have a great day.

Bertie - Any photo that's not blurred is based on some form of bribery. In this case kibbles.

Sophie and Bob showing again how differently they see life!

Someone recently said to me that they thought that 'airport terminals can be the ugliest main-streets.' I think these photos and others you've posted in the past are proof that this can be true.

I wonder if the designers ever sit in their creations for any length of time...Bob and Sophie offer a soft and gentle contrast!

I cannot see how anyone could rise from those shocking-pink things with any degree of dignity. And the beige ones look as if they've been designed with an extra half-seat to accommodate one's computer, or perhaps the larger derrieres that so many now bring to airports.

You really must let us know where you encountered those excrescences, so we can all avoid said airlines.
Bob-and-Sophie style seating is so much more sensible. Happy doggie smiles = a good day.

WHAT is in that picture in the first of the airport pics? A zombie playing a guitar? Wow.

Bob and Sophie are just simply darling - no other word for it!

They look like the tasting chairs in the Veuve Clicquot cellar
