Almost every wise saying has an opposite one, no less wise, to balance it.

It pours with rain. It's also windy. To make matters worse it's hot and humid. By the end of our morning walk Angus is soaked to the skin. It's the sort of rain that manages to find the gap between the back of your jacket and your neck.

Not that Bob and Sophie are in the slightest bit perturbed. For them it's the best day ever. A day for rolling in things malodorous and lingering in the rain. Bob finds all the watering can roses and chews them. His sister helps him. In the afternoon they dig. The lavender beds are excavated , the soil turned into gloop. ' The fonts ' astronomy exam papers are chewed. A fallen branch from a chestnut tree is dragged into the kitchen.  Both of the little angels are given baths. The washer and dryer work feverishly to produce clean towels . Some dogs like to sit inside in the comfort looking at the rain. Maybe , one day, Bob and Sophie will be like that ?

Angus, have you told Bob and Sophie about the weather in your homeland? Oh how they would love to visit.

Stella refuses to go outside if it is raining, and its always interesting to note how long she can carry on without a pee. I am suspecting Days, but she managed about 16 hours yesterday afternoon until this morning. They told me at the shelter where I got her, dogs who stay long like 3 months develop this amazing capacity.

I think they will one day, Angus, and you will remember these days of mud and mischief with great fondness.

Boredom on a rainy day....sorry about the font's exam papers.....Bob and Sophie didn't mean to destroy them, they just wanted to help her revise for her upcoming exam.
