If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.

We're up and out early. Not that we intended to be up early but Sophie thinks she's heard a squirrel in the garden. She tells us this important news at eleven minutes past six. Bob joins in with basso profundo agreement shortly after. They ignore a request to be quiet. We get up and head off to the market.

The French have a keen interest in all things relating to the British royal family. A picture of a bearded Prince Harry on a billboard outside the newsagent. It would seem the Queen is opposed to him marrying a young lady called Cressida. French stories about the royal family fall into three, largely fictional, categories. Anorexia, illicit ( or unrequited ) love and unplanned pregnancies. By contrast the ever more complicated love life of the French president generates no interest whatsoever.

Bob and Sophie return home and promptly dig a large hole in the gravel outside the front door. Bob lies in it. When he gets out Sophie takes his place. Sophie would have us believe she played no part in the excavations. I point out that the mud on her paws would indicate otherwise.

This made me laugh out loud, the photos are wonderful!
I think it's time to call in the Tarmac people to tackle your drive. They surely couldn't dig up tarmac.............could they?

Can the dirt be combed through or is a bath a must. You must be masters of dog bathing by now.
I thought Chelsy was the one thought to be inappropriate by the Queen.
As long as he doesn't bring home a Kardashian everyone should be happy.

Is it part of the job description of President of France, to prove the aphrodisiac qualities of power?

So, can you just wash the paws, or is it a complete bath?

maybe time to install a lovely outdoor bath . . . warm and toasty of course but unless you bathe them near the front door ... or carry them in your arms to the bath ... i'm thinking their undercarriages alone could lay down some serious mud! LOLOL. these puppies belong in a movie.
there you go. a fortune in little dirt diggers.

Everyone's warned at 5:25 a.m. that the cats across the street are on the move....every morning.

That long hair that catches everything always let us down.

In the picture after the tabloid it looks like Bob is digging his way to China (or someplace further). Would a shorter haircut get them through mudtime or is your entire winter mudtime?
