" You gave one to Bob ".

A strange night. Thanks to a wind from the Sahara it's not just warm but hot. In fact hotter, considerably hotter, than it's been during the day. Dogs and master stand at the gate and watch the Old Farmers star swaying alarmingly in the wind. The pole that supports it bangs against the gutters making a clunk-clunk-clunk sound. Sophie sits, head cocked to one side, intrigued by the noise.

'The font' heads off to London. Bob settles into his Mister Glum mood. He senses the standard of cuisine is about to take a nose dive. Sophie is altogether more upbeat. She knows she can convince Angus to give her treats. That '' you gave one to Bob but you forgot me " routine.

Not long now and the Old Farmer's star will be seasonally appropriate again.

Poor Bob, he does worry when the flock isn't together. Sophie seems to have worked both you and Bob out!

P.S. The burnt out bulbs are a nice touch, don't you think?
