Leninsprat.

Sophie emerges after breakfast with yogurt stuck to her chin. This gives her the look of a canine version of Lenin. One of our recent visitors mistakenly called her Sweet Pea for the better part of a week. Looking at her Angus can't help but think that Sweet Pea is an improbable name for this vision of yogurt matted horror.

A moment of sibling uncertainty over whether to take furry fox or demonic tweating bird in the car. Both are taken.

Bob makes it quite plain that Furry Fox is his. This doesn't stop Sophie from trying to 'liberate'' it . Brother and sister soon make up.

At 4:00 am there is the unmistakable noise of The Old Farmers venerable Ford Transit motor home returning. Despite the early hour Bob kindly lets us know, repeatedly, that there's activity outside. The Old Farmer was supposed to be gone a month. Later this morning I'll wander over and find out what has caused him to return after a week.

ANGUS - are you going to let us in on exactly what SWEET PEA tore to shreds the other day? The item that she "liberated" from the visitors' suitcase? From your photo it appeared to be a vintage sheer bridal veil of sorts……….oh dear. Whatever was it? Emphasis on the "was."

Oh dear, is the demonic tweeting bird still tweeting ? Surely the "tweet" has been silenced by now, either by over use or a helping hand from you or "The Font" !
Yes, we thought that the "liberated" item was a wedding veil - perhaps the college fellow was too shy to ask outright, and this would have been a hint..?

I second "Anonymous's" request! I couldn't work it out either. It was very feminine looking - perhaps she was jealous and wanted one too?

Furry fox has definitely seen better days. How many limbs are left on this one?

A veil would be most appropriate today - a young lady must never be seen in public with a yogurt matted beard.

Your visitor must have lived in the Southern U.S. I call my horse Sweet Pea sometimes. It's more to do with their sweet Spirit than yogurt face :)

I'm thinking "négligé".

Oh yes! You must tell all. We can not be left to our own ponderings!!!

Sweet pea is a term of endearment, so I'm glad Sophie endeared herself to them despite treating them like they were mass murderers!

Hope all was well with the return of the Old Farmer.

I think the words "venerable Ford Transit" might give us a clue as to the reason for the Old Farmer's return. But one never knows.
Angus, is the very old farmer still with us?
