'' Goodness ! This is clean ! ".

The downstairs kitchen usually has a 'lived in' look like this...

While we're away the new, blue haired, cleaning lady transforms it to look like this.

All the bottles of spices and olive oil have been thrown out. I've yet to find to kitchen stools. The rest of the house has also been aggressively de-cluttered.

Efficiency or a clinical form of OCD?

Bob and Sophie will make their opinions known this afternoon.

Welcome home! They'll be so glad to see you again they'll create havoc in seconds!! I've just had a clean out of the head cupboard and it is a good feeling to know they are all fresh, but I'd be very upset to loose my treasured wooden spoons and the like! I do hope you find them neatly stored somewhere.

Ha! re-read your message- stools... not tools!! They've got to be somewhere - stools are far too big it completely disappear, surely!

OCD definitely. Perhaps the stools are with all the pottery from the pottery fairs.

Looking forward to reading more about how the Angelic Duo get along with the Marge Simpson lookalike cleaning lady!

YEAH!!!! YEAH!!!! YEAH!!! You're back and I'm so happy.
Let's hope the new cleaning lady and the PON duo get along well.
The kitchen looks staged....I like it.
We'll see what Bob and Sophie think....hurry and get them back home.

It does look beautiful. Perhaps she will relax in while. Just a case of getting to know one another perhaps.

Better keep an eye on Furry Fox so the family favorite doesn't end up in the clutter bin.

Yah Hoo ! ! You're back ... and all is good once again in the universe!
Speaking of the universe, are the planets still there to be rearranged by Mr. Bob ?

Welcome Home,

Oh Sheila that would be a sad affair...that's when I'd have to take a flight over to France profonde and deal with that matter on behalf of my PON friends.

Not only are the stools missing, but it seems Mrs. Blue has also hidden the TV that resided on the upper shelf somewhere! Yikes! Efficiency personified!

That was the electric fly zapper ( much needed in deepest France profondes summers ). I fear Mme Bleu didn't like it. The good news is the stools were in the cellar and Bobs solar system fridge magnets were hiding in a bucket in the garage.

Welcome back, hope you had a wonderful trip! I would loudly protest the throwing out of spices and olive oil---that was not Mme. Bleu's place!! :( I hope she didn't toss any of The Font's spices from India...? The kitchen looks too sterile, like it's been staged for a sale. I have a feeling Mme. Bleu may turn out to be less than patient with the Angelic Duo if she's this OCD about your kitchen.

Good to have you back - hope you had a great time in HK.
The kitchen does look very sterile in the second photo, and I agree that maybe Mme. Bleu is suffering from OCD. On the other hand, she may just want to make a good first impression, and later things will slide a little. If it's left to Bob and Sophie it will soon be back to normal. Much prefer the place to look lived in - that's what homes are for. Very annoying for 'The Font' to find all her spices and oils have disappeared.

Blue hair as in little old lady tight perm blue rinse? Or as in 20 something making a fashion statement dyed her hair electric blue?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Edward and Apple's beloved dog sitter does vacuum and clean but, thankfully, leaves our spices and olive oils alone. Did your cleaner work in a surgery before this? Welcome home. You were missed! (PS. LOVE the fuchsia wall!)

Give her what ever she wants. She actually cleans!

Maybe let her know right away that dogs and owners like there toys and spices where they can be easily used and played with. Welcome back!
