The money's in the budget.

Bob displays his skills at multi-tasking. He holds a piece of carrot in his mouth while simultaneously using PON ESP to ensure the rear door doesn't slam on his tail. His sister howls.

A large orange mechanical digger has been parked outside the church for three days. The mayor tells 'The Font' that a zebra crossing is being installed. Not just any zebra crossing but a raised zebra crossing. When asked where it's going to be built he waves his hand non-committaly in the direction of the war memorial. He adds '' The money's approved and in the budget ".

The twenty cars that pass through the village each day will now have to watch out for non-existent pedestrians.

Life in a French village.

Some actions deserve a loud thank you. Here's a clip ( no sound ) of the Teignmouth Life Boat crew rescuing a dog that's got swept out to sea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SEwC4aBLZI

Oh, Bob - your antics always raise a smile!
Couldn't someone appeal to the Mayor's civic pride and persuade him to save a small portion of the money to spend on some decent Christmas decorations?

Oh Fille de Coppa ! If only bureaucratic life were so reasonable, simple and obvious.

Well, the raised aspect of the crossing may help to slow any traffic a bit. It's building, good entertainment for Bob and Sophie.

Well done to both Bob and Teignmouth Life Boat crew -- On the flip side, I'm not so sure about the use of funds to put in a zebra crossing.

There are more videos of the lifeboat few doing rescues. Some have audio. Amazing!

Alas, it never is, is it.

We think the Mayor has grand plans for the little village of 67 souls, and hopes that by the time he finishes, it will be a great metropolis !
