I'm guessing.

Overnight a storm from the Atlantic howls and roars round The Rickety Old Farmhouse. Shutters slam, down pipes gurgle and owls hoot. Unperturbed by the sounds outside the PONs snore happily away.

Sophie returns from her early morning 'comfort break' . She's been caught in a sudden squall that's blown across the valley and up the hill. I'm guessing this is not going to be a good hair day.

It's nice to go to bed with a grin on my face for a change.
Thank Sophie for me, would you?

Given that sort of weather, I don't think any of us girls will be having a good hair day ! Bob, of course, will remain his sleek self.

I suspect that Sophie still has 'thin trousers' on and that wind needs to be battled head first.

Bertie and I think Sophie's look is full of character.
Cheers, Gail.

Sophie, my hair does the same thing!
Oddly warm, damp weather in Aude, but no tempest. It probably will arrive tomorrow, in time to spoil the truffle market.

Thank you so much for posting everyday. I try to read your blog first thing every morning ( Houston, Texas time) because
it always makes me smile and think happy thoughts about your fur babies. I have two fur babies of my own and love dogs in general. Bob and Sophie always make my day.

Sophie has outdone herself. Her expression makes it even funnier.
