Let's hope it was a 'diva' moment.

The builders are supposed to be working on the shutters. Late on Friday afternoon a group of morose lads deliver a mechanical digger. We return from our afternoon PON perambulation to find it parked on the lawn. Bob and Sophie closely examine the new arrival. Bob christens it. Sophie is disappointed it's not edible. We're not sure what the builders plans for the mechanical digger are.

Aude the bipolar decaratrice continues to fill in cracks in the walls. She arrives at seven thirty then leaves at ten. Loic the heavily bifocaled gardener blows leaves into piles. The PONs follow along behind unpiling them. What is it about playing in leaves that's so satisfying ?

A scare with Sophie who seems to have hurt her leg. She was just strolling through the garden when she let out three of those yelps ( the sort dog owners dread ) and fell down. A quiet night and she seems to be able to stand on her feet. We'll see if a trip to the hospital is required or whether this was just one of those 'diva' moments. Perhaps a caught nerve ?

Cats and dogs.

When I play in leaves I find the crunching sound and fluttering feeling extremely satisfying.

Oh no, poor Sophie. Was it a front leg, or one of the back ones? I do hope that she's just having a 'diva' moment, but they will need to keep a close eye on her at the kennels.

The digger looks a bit ominous. Hope Sopie wakes up fit and well tomorrow morning.

Oh dear this is worrying news about Sophie. All fingers and paws crossed here that all is well.

Fingers crossed that it was just a Diva Moment

Maybe something caught in her paw or an insect sting. If not, a trip to the vet before her trip to the kennel might be in order.

There are prayers here for Sophie and that it was just a "moment."

Hopefully Sophie's leg is fine. It must be worrying. A day or two of rest should help determine whether there's a need to worry

When our dogs have done that we call it the twingles. She probably just hit a nerve or atrophied muscle just wrong.

Edward began limping yesterday on his walk. We stopped and I checked out his foot. Nothing. So I massaged his ankle for a few moments and we continued on just fine. Cramp? I'm hoping the same mysterious little wrinkle was all it was for Sophie. xx

Hope it was just a Diva moment!

Perhaps the Morose Lads are just insuring job security as they'll need to be called back to repair something they hit with the digger.
