Endurance pierces marble.







Bob does a bit of herding, has a doze then shreds a roll of kitchen paper that has been left in the back of the car.

 Sophie does a bit of herding, has a doze then digs down deep to discover a crack in the sewage outflow pipe.

There was a time when we thought Sophie might be less boisterous than her brother .

    I always said that Sophie would be the one to watch out for.....remember still waters run deep.....in this case sewage outflow deep.
    If she were really naughty, she'd jump in the pool to get clean again after shouting "Cannon ball!!"
    I know you're not laughing but you've got to admit it was kinda funny on her part. Did she try to snuggle up to you with her smelly self afterwards??

    Ah yes, I remember when you first saw them and thought Sophie was shy and timid. Seems like a long time ago!
    Look at it this way Angus, Sophie is a plumbing leak alert dog. Would you have known about the flaw in the pipe if she hadn't found it?

    I was smiling broadly at the image of Bob conked out, clearly exhausted from lots of play and Bob being Bob, then I saw the photo of Sophie and thought "oh dear" and then I read about SEWAGE OUTFLOW! My smile disappeared.
