Patience will achieve more than force

High summer. The rickety old farmhouse is suddenly full. A noisy dinner on the terrace finishes at well past midnight. This morning two happy but exhausted sheepdogs join me in my office. Bob brings in a Timberland boot to chew on.  They've discovered that their flock has suddenly got larger. ''We'll get some peace and quiet in here Sophie".  Sophie promptly falls asleep. Both are discovering that flocks can be unruly, exhausting, things.

  3. Yes it does look like a (slipped) halo!
I can imagine Bob and Sophie have already captured the hearts of the extended flock.
    Have a lovely day.

  4. Is that a halo over Sophie's head? Flocks seem to be ever-changing.

  8. They both look pooped.....but I can imagine they're having a great time with more folks around.
New smells, more titbits, more tummy rubs and ear tickles....a PON's delight.
Sophie the angel wears her halo with style, she really is a fashionista.
Wishing you all lots of fun with your summer guests.

  15. The extended flock must be quite something to be able to tire two PON puppies.
We hope Bob is knowledgeable about footwear and is able to distinguish tired Timberlands from your princely Lobbs.
