After a long walk a detour to the little stream. Sophie paddles, Bob drinks. Deer prints in the mud along the banks. Bob looks at me suggesting now would be a good time to let him off his lead. He is disappointed. Sophie tries her hand at fishing. She might do better at it if she could refrain from barking with delight every time she catches sight of a trout. The PON duo return home wet and happy.
A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

When it is dark enough you can see the stars.

I like the stream.
ReplyDeleteThe poinsettias make a wonderful outdoor plant, can grow to a large, showy size. Somehow I have heard they are not good for pets or kids to be around should they chew on them, but if you could get them up high enough they might be a lovely addition to the garden.
ReplyDeleteThe stream is beautiful and the pups really dote on it, don't they? Do they visit every day?
Jo
Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteWhat temperature is that stream Sophie?
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Did you read that people are stealing hydrangeas to smoke them?
ReplyDeleteThe local press have dubbed the hydrangea thieves ''the Hortensia Gang ".
DeleteTheir morning sounds like a great way to start the day!
ReplyDeleteThat display is beautiful...
ReplyDeleteWe think a spot of deer chasing would be fun, as well.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
It's a shame that poinsettias are regarded as purely a Christmas plant, they're so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOurs is still going strong.
I love the flowering cacti. Orchids I will buy in the blink of an eye, so the upcoming sale would be right up my street.
ReplyDeleteKey word being "happy."
