Saturn is nibbled.

There is a thunderstorm. The window frames rattle. Every so often an almighty bang transmits itself down into the ground and then back up through the house.  Bob and Sophie are completely oblivious to the pyrotechnics around them. They do however get wet. Both are 'encouraged' inside. They feign deafness. Their master gets soaked.

A bored Bob rearranges the solar system with his nose. Saturn is pulled off the dishwasher door and nibbled.

  1. Bob was just attempting to answer a question that puzzled astronomers for many a long year - just what those rings made of?

    1. Bob was hoping for sausage or camembert. He was disappointed.

  2. We had a thunderstorm, too. Noise and lights...not a worry. But the wind moving doors was definitely scary.

  3. I'm amazed that only Saturn has been nibble so far, I'm sure Leah would have had the whole solar system in pieces by now

    1. Why he should have such an interest in Japanese solar system fridge magnets is a mystery.

  4. If he's going to destroy a planet, tell him to eat Mercury, that's the trouble maker

  5. Once again, Bob is the Man!! We're thinking he sensed some asteroid damage to Saturn.
(It will probably be in the news later this week...)

    1. Only light damage - more a gentle gnawing with his overbite.

  6. No, he should destroy Mars - isn't that the warmonger?
Surprised that Sophie hasn't been hiding under the bed with all those pyrotechnics going on around her, and Bob should be manfully doing his best to protect her.

    1. Having been born on a farm to the only working Polish Lowland Sheepdogs in France they are totally oblivious to thunderstorms. What are the chances of ever having dogs like this again ?
