Bob arrives at the front door with a muddy nose. He looks guilty.
Angus marvels at the size of the hole that's been dug in the lawn.
Bathed and toweled dry the PONs are loaded in the back of the car. Sophie is wearing her patented ' I cannot tell a lie. It was my brother ' look. Angus points out that in a court of law the evidence would be stacked against her.
So begins a Thursday morning with two happy dogs.
Being yourself or being perfect?
ReplyDeleteNot mutually exclusive for some of us, surely?
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
They wanted it to be a surprise. They know you like golf. Who needs Jack Nicklaus.
ReplyDeleteWhat great characters, two bundles of fun (I can say that, it wasn't my lawn!)
ReplyDeleteWe haven't the slightest chance at being perfect, so we'll stick to being ourselves. Love Bob's muddy nose.
ReplyDeleteEarly morning hole digging...what better way to start the day...better than a cup of coffee to get the day started I'd say...Love from your Bajan pal Brownie.
ReplyDeleteI love their noses!
ReplyDeleteLoveable Rouges!
ReplyDeleteWhen they finally dig up the buried treasure, you will be proud!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen.Until then I'll just despair.
DeleteI've never seen two more innocent dogs.
ReplyDeleteSure !
DeleteNot just any hole in the lawn, but a PON special ! An ideal place to plant a tree?
ReplyDeleteThere's going to be a lot of tree planting this spring !
DeleteSophie looks as though she got a henna treatment around her mouth. She seems to pass Bob up when it comes to getting dirty but they both have looking innocent down.
ReplyDeleteLooks like henna but it's actually deeply, deeply ingrained mud.
Deletethere's no way anyone could seriously get angry with those babies.
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOL!!!
♥
Would angry make any difference ? Resignation is the universal PON owner trait.
