Normal service resumed.
It is cold and wet in the UK. We return to find it warmer but equally wet here.
Sophie tries to give us her cold shoulder ' How could you have left me ? ' treatment but she's too happy to be standoffish for long.
On leaving the kennels Bob amazes us by literally flying into the back of the car. Can a dog leap twenty feet ?
Spaghetti for dinner. Sophie wolfs it down. Bob, comically, savours it strand by strand.
By nine the angelic duo are sound asleep.
Normal service has been resumed at The Rickety Old Farmhouse
Oh yes - a dog can leap 20 feet into a car ! One of ours did - every time we collected him from kennels, and wouldn't come out again until he was safely home.
ReplyDeleteGood to know all is well, and normal service is resumed at ROF.
'Bob eating spaghetti strand by strand' is now no.2 on my video wish list (after 'PON activates swooshing doors in airport' of course).
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
Cheers, Gail.
What about Bob's soft shoe shuffle - no.3?
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like being home!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the pack is back together again
ReplyDeleteOh, and its still wet and cold over here
Welcome home! Today will probably be a day to regroup, rest a little, and catch up. And of course make sure no one took any dog toys in your absence!
ReplyDeleteHappy full tummies and hearts make sound sleepers.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything better than normal service? We think not.
ReplyDeleteGlad all has service has resumed.
ReplyDeleteMy condolences on the loss of your friend. I hope as everyone gathered together to celebrate a life that I've no doubt was well lived, that you found comfort in your memories of joyful times together.
