Innocence.
The PONs don't know it yet ....
.... but in ten minutes ....
.
.... they'll be loaded in the back of the car and taken to the K-E-N-N-E-L-S.
The angelic duo have just had a guilt assuaging bowl of grilled tuna, mangetout and broccoli.
We're off to Scotland. Back on Thursday.
In our absence The Old Farmer will be using the pool for his leg exercises. The mayor has the key to the garage where the tools and the ladders are stored.
Safe travels, and I hope the old Farmer enjoys use of your pool --And maybe the Mayor as well?
ReplyDeleteSafe travels! We will send virtual croissant pieces to the PONS for the next few days!
ReplyDeleteBon voyage. I love your village-collective arrangements for house-watching, having done similar in New England.
ReplyDeleteHope the aqua therapy helps the Old Farmer.
Like summer camp for the PONs. So much fun. Trop cool.
ReplyDeleteSuch communal arrangements are only normal. My house is your house, kind of thing. Everybody at home everywhere, and everybody takes as much care with other people's homes as with their own, as a result.

ReplyDeleteScotland...just when Gail and I have both vacated! A week for travel it seems. Better take the PONS some haggis treatz as compensation because the before will be long forgotten! YAM xx
Enjoy your travels! The Pons as well as your faithful readers are looking forward to a reunited flock on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteTuna and Broccoli go a long way to a few "hours" forgiveness. :=) You'll be missed.
Suddenly Thursday seems far away.
DeleteThat breakfast would make the dogs suspicious, here.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have withdrawal symptoms 😳
ReplyDeleteSafe travels and a speedy return. It's only a couple of days so you'll be back almost before we, and the PON's, know it !
ReplyDeleteThat last sentence made me laugh out loud. Bon voyage. If you're in the NE, drop in. We hit Toulouse late on Friday for a week's well earned RnR
ReplyDeleteSafe travels. You are always missed!!!
ReplyDeleteSay hello to Scotland for me!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail
Such a short trip.
ReplyDeleteGood for them, though!
We visited Scotland (Edinburgh)for the first time last month and had a wonderful time. My son wanted to walk Hadrian's Wall, which got us started on the plan, my husband (an economist) wanted to see where Adam Smith spent his working life, my daughter wanted to go on a ghost tour and I've always wanted to see the Tattoo. Meanwhile, Cherry spent the week at the home of the trainer she worked with as a young dog. She's seven now but hope for better behavior springs eternal. (Didn't work!)
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.
