Oh, what a mess! Does she tolerate a proper B-A-T-H ? Or is that word not to be mentioned in her hearing? Our Goldie loves me bathing her - but I do give her a shower in our bathroom and use lovely warm water and special low-allergy shampoo. Then we use half a dozen towels to rub her dry, after which she races around the house rolling and yowling in delight.
Oh, poor Sophie - not really a good idea to photograph a Diva when she's not looking her best! Like Goldie, Inca is bathed in our walk-in shower, so no struggling to get her into a bath! Even though she's a Labrador, I'm not sure she's 100% happy about it all, but the treats afterwards help. Dare I mention that it's another beautiful day here? Sunny, blue skies and warm - small consolation for not having the magnificent scenery and endless walks that you have on your doorstep. Not that we can go far - any town with more then 50,000 population is strictly out of bounds. Another lockdown is surely round the corner.
We expected a nationwide lockdown to be announced by the French President last night but they seem loathe to do it ahead of the winter holidays. Go figure !
Ah Sophie...Nothing a few towels and a warm kitchen can't fix. And I'm sure the Font needs a taste tester for her lunch prep. Maybe not "the best day ever" but not too shabby!
