We're spending a night or two in the wee house before the purchase of the new property is finalized. The kitchen fridge provides evidence that the last tenants were soda loving Americans.
A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.
That really is a lot of soda! Sophie may be disappointed if there are no sausage-dispensing breakfast chefs at your final destination, but perhaps you will not be too far away to make an occasional visit.
ReplyDeletePoor Sophie - just as she's found a source of sausages, she'll be on the move again.
ReplyDeleteI hope Angus and the Font are enjoying their short sojourn in St Andrews as much as Sophie evidently is.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the tenants didn't go native and convert to Irn Bru!
Cheers, Gail.
Soohie makes friends wherever she goes.

ReplyDeleteOne suspects the chef has found a new morning routine of his own and will miss Sophie after forming an immediate and firm connection!!! Then again, perhaps the new home is within coo-ee... YAM xx
One noticeable difference between the street cafes in the two places is that in Scotland the people are wearing long sleeves!
ReplyDeleteAll that pop is definitely not good for you!
The only thing that appears to be missing is a trip to a bakery.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of cleaning hacks on YouTube for using Cola to removing rust to cleaning the toilet. Ha Ha
ReplyDeleteLovely third photo! We actually get to see a photo of Character Number 1.
ReplyDeletePork sausage for Sophie and a chance for M'Ongoose to exchange a few words in French?
ReplyDeleteI'm pining for Scotland!
ReplyDeletePurchasing a house up there was just so much more efficient than in England. Estate agents and solicitors both professional, friendly and helpful. It was almost as if they actually enjoyed their jobs!
Sophie will miss Msr Saucisse.
I hope all goes well over the next few days.
Hilarious!❤️
ReplyDeleteA great start to Sophie's Scottish Adventure!
ReplyDeleteAh , the chef of 1/2 sausages. Sophie is treated well , wherever she goes. Good girl.
ReplyDeleteseems no time since you were isolated in St Andrews - totally unsuspecting of the upheaval/ serendipity/change ahead - can't believe how much has happened in that time! Enjoying the journey - but glad it is behind you now.
