Back next week.
The PONs spend an idyllic Sunday lazing in the sun, having the small rugby ball kicked for them ( always more interesting when it's kicked rather than thrown ) and barking at passing pilgrims.
At six they're shipped off to the k-e-n-n-e-l-s for a week. Angus explains that sometimes the human part of the family also needs attention. Bob is unimpressed. He layers on his '' And I thought you loved me " routine.
The PONs owners face a night at the airport hotel. We'll be back from the States early next week.
Here's some happy music :
Safe travels! Sending virtual croissant ends too Bob and Sophie :-)

ReplyDeleteSending loving vibes to the PONS that the seven days does not feel like eighty seven... and and that for Angus and the Font, it is smooth and meaningful. YAM xx
Poor mistreated, abandoned Bob and Sophie. Or so they'd like us to believe.
ReplyDeleteFair winds.
Safe travels. Perhaps you could include a stop in DC to speak firmly to those wearing dark suits and long ties?????.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip and don't even think about your poor, abandoned PONs....lol!
ReplyDeleteSafe trip and return travels.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for a safe and enjoyable trip and good fun for Bob and Sophie at "camp."
ReplyDeleteI’ll miss your blog..coming to,California?
ReplyDeleteWishing you safe and happy travels. Although you'll be much closer (to me) in terms of miles, you'll seem much farther away. We'll be in high spirits to have you all back again.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a good trip to the States. Bob and Sophie will, I suspect, cope (just) without the daily illicit croissant sliver and all the other home comforts.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
