The highpoint of our day is the arrival of Loic to blow leaves and cut the grass. At this time of the year there aren't many leaves left to blow so Loic is soon on the lawn tractor careening round the orchard. From the peals of laughter there can be no doubting that this is the high point of his week. Loic seems settled and well.
Angus and 'The Font' will be heading back to Scotland for a few days to deal with the furniture problems at the wee house in St.Andrews. Bob and Sophie are blissfully unaware that they will be heading off to the k-e-n-n-e-l-s . The weather forecast is for mild nights and cool cloudy days so they will be just fine until Saturday. The same cannot be said for Scotland where the night time temperatures are forecast to be close to freezing.
Instead of taking the mid-day flight back we're trying the evening connector through London. This gets into Edinburgh at close to midnight but means that the PONs can have most of the day with us before being packed off. The new timing also means we ( hopefully ) avoid the traffic jam as the Airbus workers change from the day to night shifts.
We'll be back on Saturday morning.

Frost on the lawn in NE Scotland this morning. But at least it's sunny.
ReplyDeleteBon Voyage!
Courage!
ReplyDeleteSafe journey. I hope that you can resolve all the furniture problems, and the wee house is finally as you planned.
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to Bob and Sophie !
I LOVE these photos. Good luck with sorting out the chairs - what a problem this has been. Hope you can get rid of the thrones.
ReplyDeleteI also hope the thrones get collected soon. The Mohammed al-Fayed look is not a natural one for a North East Fife coastal town which doesn't wear its Calvinism lightly.
DeleteWhat a muddle. If Phil knows you're headed north, I'll wager he's very busy right now.

ReplyDeleteAll best with - everything! YAM xx
I love this morning's photos of stereo guarding. And so glad to read of Loic careening around your yard laughing! Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteHow I envy you four days in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteEven four days of sorting out contractors.
Your wisteria is beautiful! Wishing you and "The Font" safe travels, and when you return please post a photo of the thrones to see if my imagination matches your description.
