As a wartime evacuee in Canada my mother was encouraged to drink a quart of (presumably full fat) milk a day. Lactose tolerance always seemed to me an excellent evolutionary adaptation. It also challenges some of the more simplistic ideas about what humans are 'meant' to eat. Cheers! Gail.
Hopefully there will be a few slivers of croissant at the bakers - just to make it better than a best day? Loved the cartoon. The look on the dog's face, in the last picture, is just like the look on Inca's face, when I tell her she's the best dog in the whole wide world !
