Guess what ?
Thursday morning at 6:35 am. The universe is once again in balance. Bob has appeared at the front door with the indestructible day-glo yellow toy with multiple squeakers. It's looking a little the worse for wear but nothing that a little TLC won't cure. From the soil covering I'm guessing it was in the rose bed. Sophie has yet to notice.
Some karma restoring mornings are truly memorable. It can't be long before Sophie gives full voice to her '' The lost has been found " delight. How she will liberate it from her brothers clutches is yet to be determined.
Hurrah!
ReplyDeleteI guess it has lost some of its dayglo look after being buried in the bushes.
ReplyDeleteA thin layer of mud and compost doesn't help the day-glo look.
DeleteIt's always good when what is lost is found. I've never had dogs bury anything - dig to Australia, yes, but digging to hide something to enjoy later, is an unknown concept Goldens and Scotties.
ReplyDeleteWhy toys should be hidden and then recovered is an aspect of PON psychology that defies logic. Perhaps the soil coating adds to the excitement ?

ReplyDeletePeace restored? Or is that Squeak restored? YAM xx
Squeak(s)
DeleteI bought my Westie a frog also after seeing the one you got for your Pon’s. For some reason he hasn’t been all that excited over it so far. Maybe later.
ReplyDeleteHaving studied the day-glo yellow toy I can now see that it is a frog. Thank you. Your Westie is perhaps a better judge of toys than the angelic duo.
DeleteYes, it is for sure a day-glo Day!
ReplyDeleteAnd all manner of things shall be well. And the universe with day-glo frogs again in balance. Possibly a best day ever.
