Intractable problems.
Sophie glares at the yogurt pot. It refuses to refill itself.
She carries it into the library and glares at it some more. Still no luck.
She then glares at her master. He doesn't get the hint. The yogurt pot remains empty. Where is Mike Pompeo when you need him ?
Maybe the intractable problem with the yogurt pot will sort itself out tomorrow ? In the meantime there are squirrels to chase.
Just when you think you've seen it all along comes a wool avocado ripener : https://www.thegrommet.com/products/the-avocado-sock-wool-avocado-ripener?
Poor Sophie with her daily dairy dilemma!
ReplyDeleteI really don't know how I've managed through life so far without one of the cuddly avocado ripeners. I've just bought three (hoping you have negotiated a reasonable affiliate fee).
The Font ripens avocados by popping them in a brown paper bag with a banana. From the comments not everyone thinks it works overnight.

Deleteyup, the banana-loving does the trick. Pottasium gas. Hence the bag to speed things up. But just on the same bowl or plate works too. I proved it this very weekend!!! YAM xx
You look so sad Miss Sophie.
ReplyDeleteOne day that pot will refill itself !
DeleteThat darned yogurt pot - we have the same problem here! We reckon it's a wicked plot - they just won't refill themselves!
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to ripen avocado - must try it, though I don't have a sock. Will try the paper bag and banana first - those I do have.
Or any old sock might do just as well .
DeleteWe do the paper bag in a dark place. But the made by people with 'employment challenges' might be a reason to buy it.
