She sits and waits in a corner of the kitchen while Angus finds the car keys.

One shriek from Sophie and the visitor is off across the village green at high speed.

Well, that's too bad, I think we were all hoping Sophie would like him, but it sounds like she's scared him off at the first opportunity!
