I get up in the small hours to check the computer and find out what's going on in the world. Common sense seems to have won out.
With winter gone and the sun out the wee town is looking particularly cheerful.
Summer, or a Scottish approximation of it, is on the way. Life away from the internet is grand.

Your blue flower is a Scilla... as ever, your photos bring a sense of peace and calm ... via the internet. YAM xx
Enjoy the warm days.
I also woke up last night to check on the world. So far so good.
Every morning I look at your photos and think how much fun Charlie would have on that beach, although maybe not in winter. He's been to the beach but always with soft sand so that he sinks right in.
I hadn't detected that MAGA is turning on the Brits, and they do seem to be splitting. Yesterday's comments from Tucker Carlson and Margerie Taylor Greene were quite something.
The reed bunting's birds-eye view from the marram grass...what a way to look at the world around it.
