Some absorbing reading to have with the morning cuppa again, ta. The non-opiod article of particular interest. However, I leave the post this morning with the overall urge to go in search of lemon and lime Jaffa Cakes... given I haven't eaten a standard Jaffa since childhood, this is weird! The appeal of novelty? YAM xx
The extra links attached to the morning post will take me into the afternoon to fully absorb. I always find something I didn’t know or didn’t fully know.
Glad to hear the farmer is happy with how his potatoes are progressing.

The fish market looks wonderful, the gulls terrifying. Hitchcock left a lasting impression on my young mind.
It's true, The Birds was one of those movies that leaves a lasting impression, although I continue to love both crows and seagulls. The Jaffa Cakes photos made me feel nostalgic as well - I had never heard of them before reading your blog, and I remember being thrilled when I first saw the real thing, in Hong Kong of all places.
