The headlines on Radio 4 are about Venezuela and Iran. For light relief we turn the dial to the classical music on Radio 3. Before we switch stations a MAGA gentleman is interviewed and cheerfully insists that 'bringing Greenland home ' will give the administration a huge boost in the mid-terms. In case we are in any doubt he pronounces huge as a long drawn out ' hewwwwge '. This enthusiastic candour must be perplexing our neighbours across the water in Denmark.
The hills to the North covered with fresh snow. In the sunrise they have a decidedly roseate glow . The forecast is for us to have snow by lunchtime but the forecast has said the same thing for the last two days and been wrong.
It only seems like days ago that Halloween items dominated the aisles. Now we're already onto Valentines Day. We wonder if the retired Church of Scotland minister with the 'acts of congress' problem on his flat kitchen roof approves.

One of our New Zealand major supermarket chains has already started selling instore and advertising online their hot crossed buns saying, in the media yesterday, it is never too early to enjoy hot crossed bins. Good Friday is 3 April this year. I will probably see see Easter bunnies before Valentines Day products are for sale.

good luck to the mystery travellers; Pitlochry via St Andrews is a bit of a mystery, but shows a 'caw canny' nature for the driver. A loop of the kingdom of Fife is no bad thing, if the 42 but knew it! YAM xx
The two sky pictures above certainly tell a tale. Nature is fascinating - a tangerine shark! (I’m glad the fisherman returned the fish to the sea.)

Valentines merchandize was showing up in the stores, before New Year.
It will be interesting to see if 'tangerine' sharks are more frequently observed.
OK. What is the blue thing in the first photo? I'm thinking some sort of farm equipment, but are those 5 seats? Is it the economy Mystery Bus??
It's a plough.
Glorious skies...Did the snow come
