Christmas music #11

Cold but clear. It doesn't get light until eight thirty at this time of the year. Archie the arthritic labrador is sporting a new LED collar. This, it is hoped, will help locate him when he absent mindedly wanders. Archie's collar glows a manly red, his sisters collar a fetching blue. They twinkle as they stroll slowly down the beach.

The roof of the car covered in the finest of hoar frost. Up close it looks like tiny blades of icy grass.

To the north of the house the hills are blanketed in thick, white, pristine snow. So far the snow has kept to the far side of the bay. The students may be hoping for a blizzard but we're more than happy for these mild conditions to continue.

Language classes being advertised in a window in town. I knew that Dari and Farsi were both dialects of modern Persian. I don't know whether they're absolutely identical.

From Mali. Calm and relaxing. Christmas music #11:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It63p2TJ328

Your photo of the hoarfrost on your car is amazing! I can't quite see the lights on Archie's color, but I can relate. Charlie has a lighted leash, with little red lights all along its length. These gizmos are not nearly as common here in France as they were in Tokyo, but in the Christmas season, it suddenly feels appropriate. I enjoyed the music from Mali.

Angus, thank you for the link you left for me Asking a different way. I would like the link where you order your mincemeat pie. Thank you again for helping me out.

Thank you. I checked and found out they don’t ship mincemeat pie to the US. I appreciate your help.

Soon the exams will be finished and the students will dream of a sunny day.

That article about Pash Katel was terrifying. Apparently there is no low the melon won't sink to in his appointees. I really wish I could find a congenial place to move rather than live through whatever comes next here in the US.

Oh, it's good to hear that arthritic Archie still is enjoying his beach walks. The hoar frost photo is beautiful. Mother sure has her ways to make things sparkle.

Loved the hoarfrost photo. I have long been of the opinion that if the orange criminal won reelection that the cabinet picks for his second term would be horrifying. It would appear that I was correct.

Someone told me the other day of a 4-year cruise around the world! Don't know if it's true, but a great fantasy nevertheless!
