Haircut.

Radio France enters week four of its strike. Not to be outdone the air traffic controllers have also downed tools. 50% of all flights in and across France cancelled. This happens every year just as families are trying to get home for the start of the new school term. Coincidence ?

This morning the mountains hidden by haze. I go to get the car from the barn. By the time I get back Bob and Sophie are waiting outside the front door with their ' what kept you ? ' look. PON patience.

Definitely getting warmer. Time for the PONs to have a hiarcut before their trip to the kennels.

Sophie looks better ( and svelter ) after a trim.

Bob, despite having lost a mass of hair, doesn't look any different.

At least they should be cooler. Perhaps we'll repeat the process tomorrow.

No sign of the kitchen fitters.

  2. The kitchen fitters are probably stuck awaiting a flight somewhere....it's amazing how the air traffic controllers have so many strikes.
Everything looks so green and pretty....spring has definitely sprung.
I can't believe that it's time for the kennels already....do the angelic duo know?

  3. Uh oh, kennels?
Do you think the PONs arranged the air traffic control strike to stop you going?

Kennels - oh dear, they will look the smartest there, but no consolation to Bob and Sophie...
Are the kitchen fitters on strike too - in sympathy with Radio France and Air Traffic Controllers? How very selfish they are - do they ever consider other people ?

  5. Kennels! Have I missed something!
All school children returning from vacations offer a collective prayer of thanks to the air controllers for their strike. Long may it last.

  7. Compared to you we are really behind with springtime, but the shedding and grooming season is in full swing!

--And some will say there are no such things as "coincidence!"
