Normal service resumed.

The welcome as we collect the PONs from the kennels is 'vocal'. There's no doubting that this is the best day ever.

Bob refuses to leave my side.

He's not supposed to come into the bedroom but he creeps in and settles down on the floor by the window. Several times during the night he wanders over and sticks a cold wet nose in my ear to make sure I'm still there. There are occasions when the rules can be 'stretched'. This is one of those times.

After a late supper his sister is exhausted and doesn't make it up the stairs. She settles in the downstairs hallway and falls fast asleep. Sophie's still there when I come down this morning. A second round of emotional greetings ensues.

We shall soon be setting off for our morning croissant.

A happy and untroubled world is once again spinning smoothly on its axis.

Here's some cello music : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD3UZGQqbl8

Welcome home! To ANGUS and the FONT, and to the PONS. You have been sorely missed. So relieved to see BOB and SOPHIE looking so well,
and so happy. Daily life resumed, schedules resumed, and rules bent for BOB in the bedroom..........as is appropriate. Welcome home again -
from your fans on the Westcoast of Canada. Hope this mornings' croissant is a 10/10.

I'm thinking the croissant rated 15/10 this morning?
Thanks for the lovely cello music. It's good to have you back.
Cheers, Gail.

At least Bob and Sophie have one another when they are at the kennel. I'm sure Sophie received her daily kiss. It does seem as though you've been gone a long time and must seem like an eternity to those two.
Lovely cello. I missed reading/listening to your daily links too.
