Something of a surprise to see Elon Musk show up at the re-consecration of Notre Dame. Does he have a house in the 16th or does he take over a floor in the Rosewood ? Travelling when you're the worlds wealthiest man can't be easy.
The weather may be wet and windy in Paris but here it's worse and most definitely not a day to linger outside. The sea below the last wee house before Denmark churned into a fury by a 90 mph wind blowing from the North. The wind doesn't often blow directly from the North but when it does you know it. The power in the house goes off but is restored again ten minutes later. The Waitrose man arrives in his truck with the fortnightly delivery but the wind is too strong for us to open the garage doors. He leaves everything in the courtyard where it will stay until the weather is calmer.

Oh dear, I tried so hard not to press the chocolink... I really did... YAM xx
Catching up on the music. That Day 4 song is wonderful. Best yet
I am so done with people who are always looking for the ultimate bragging experience (this could possibly extend to Mr. Musk appearing at the Notre Dame ceremony as if he were a world leader). Fortunately, your post is, as ever, a tonic. The website for the chocolate supplier the Font has discovered is a delight. I checked whether I could buy some and have my son bring it back from London, but it seems it wouldn't reach him in time. Next year! And today's Christmas music is wonderful, one of my favorite songs for the season.
The baker's offerings are quite lurid!

I hope the wind quiets down soon. My guess is a lot of private jets will be there for a couple of days in April.
Some Americans think Elon "bought" the election for Trump, and so is the actual POTUS in waiting. He is seen to be pulling the orange one's strings and inserts himself everywhere. They say you get what you pay for. PS: This year's music is lovely.
We've been so concerned.about an autocracy but looking at the proposed new cabinet of billionaires plus first buddy Elon, it seems a plutocracy is in the wings!
I want all of the chocolate selections . . . ALL of them. Today's Christmas music is my favorite so far.
No surprise that Elmo was at Notre Dame, unfortunately he's Trump's new pet and we're going to see more of him than we want to for the next few years.
Until they have a falling-out.
Angus, that first photo of the seascape looks like a watercolor. Wonderful.
Love your Elmo construct!
These folks are brilliant but the expat Swedes in Marylebone tend to buy everything as soon as it appears - https://www.rococochocolates.com/
Thank you for the glimpse into the bakers window. I enjoy those pictures and of the market items most of all . The scenery is spectacular though.
