Best day ever.

With two enthusiastic Polish Lowland Sheepdogs in the house ...

.... there is absolutely zero chance that we will miss the sunrise.

Some things beat lying in bed. This mornings deep red  colours an indication that a sand cloud is being brought in from the Sahara.

By seven thirty it's almost full daylight. For the PONs , who've been on the go since six, it's the start of the best day ever.

Usually it's terribly hot when the sirocco blows. But I guess 32 is pretty hot for mid-September.
Magnificent sunrise!

We are loving your red sunrise shots. Good on you Pons - we have to admire your enthusiasm for each day.

Glorious. For a few days last month, the sands of the Sahara reached us in Texas.

I have to agree with the PONs - sunrise is the best time.

That's an amazing sunrise. I would have thought "red sky at morning ..." but you don't have to worry there about large bodies of water.
