A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.
Just the two of us. The house finally empty. To celebrate the arrival of peace we eat dinner in the cherry orchard. The clouds that have obscured the sky all day lift. A perfect night to talk, laugh and watch the shooting stars.
Midnight . '' What have you got there Bob " ? asks ' the font ' . The question quickly followed, in an altogether less relaxed tone of voice , by '' That's my shoe " ! Bob looks back as if to say ' and very tasty it was too ' .
When you have two seven month old PON's 'things' are unimportant.

Bob.i I just sampled Mephisto... A French sandal used for walking I'm told. Mmmmmm. Buttery with sort of a citrus finish. Cheers, mate!
Otto
Bob knows Mephisto well. Not as good as Prada.
Is that a perfect little row of Bob's white teeth I see there? So funny, he looks like he is grinning.
Bob knows what's best for his beautiful teeth - chewing on good leather!
You might as well make it a pair Bob.
Looks like Bob's not impressed with the camera in his face while drinking.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
He has a very noisy way of drinking that can best be described as mouth wide, teeth apart, water everywhere.
Bob and Sophie

Enjoyable photos today, Angus!! But I take it that Bob has learned that there's nothing more enjoyable than a midnight snack!
Perfect duo!!!! Greetings from Ischia Susanne, Daisy and Kiri
Just the four of you. Peace and tranquility for a little while....when do the crazy workmen return?
The 'Font' may have to buy a pair of shoes for Bob when she goes shopping again...smile.
When we leave normal for excitement, adventure and visitors, most of us, like you, enjoy returning to our "quiet" lives, with just us, good weather and great leather.
The dogs here at Silverwalk are under stress as we de-clutter and PAINT, preparing not only for our Open House in September but not so simple deep cleaning desperately needed. ARROOO - they say, we want "normal" back.
Count the stars, drink your fill, enjoy life - as you all clearly do.
Your sunflower photos are beautiful...I can never seem ro capture them that way and ours, sadly, went south in the big Charente/ Aquitaine storm three weeks ago. Bob' teeth are too cute in the drinking photo....and Sophie looks quite fetching in her solo in the last post. Madame Bay departing? Perhaps more sad for us than for you! :-)
How's the cherry harvest this year?
