All wisdom is summed up in two words - wait and hope.

Bob and Sophie peer out of the front door only to find it's raining heavily. In fact it's tipping it down. The parched clay soil slurping up the water. A moments hesitation on the hearth and then they're off - heads down, tails up. A quick whoop of delight as they scamper through the orchard. Ten minutes later they reappear. Wet , muddy and very happy. A day for lying, dozing, in the kitchen.

Bob's coat continues to change. It started off looking like a zebras ; then it became an indeterminate melange of black and white. Now he's beginning to look like a Dalmatian. He's also continuing to grow. A robust 21 kilos at this mornings weigh-in. His paws look as though they were designed for a bigger dog. They are quite simply, enormous.

Lovely big old paws.

We had a rough night with Merlin but that I am sure was entirely down to the impressive storm.

The Milbemax doesn't seem to have adversely affected him. He ate his breakfast with his usual gusto, so I think I am going to stick with this product.

I hope Sophie has perked up?

Thanks for the update. We'll maybe switch to Milbemax. Sophie ws as right as rain six hours after she'd taken the Drontal.

Those two are very smart....they know that something delectable will emerge from those oven doors sometime sooner or later....it's the best place to keep guard and doze away the day.
A scamper in the rain must be the ultimate canine joy.
So happy that dear Sophie is feeling much better. Brother Bob is BIGGG enough to envelop her and comfort her if needed.

I love his spotty coat! Do you think he'll be bigger than Wilf and Digby?

Htooth - At this rate I reckon he's on track to being the biggest PON in the world. PONus Maximus.

Aren't puppies so cute when their paws are too big for their bodies, all legs and paws before they grow in to them. PONus Maximus Dalmatae, a new breed ?
