The wisteria has stopped flowering but it hasn't stopped growing. The tendrils now forcing their way through the base of the shutters and up against the windows. Early rising villagers can see Angus hanging over the bedroom balcony with a pair of shears - lopping away.
White asparagus bought for lunch.
Loic arrives. This is an opportunity for Sophie to monitor his leaf blowing.
Bob observes events from the comfort of a rosemary bush.
They maintain a healthy distance when Loic sets off on the lawn tractor . This has been filled with just enough fuel to last twenty minutes. Loic is kept well clear of the wild orchids.
All in all a pretty good start to the day.

Hah! So it's called hypercorrection! The number of my French friends who insert 'h's determinedly into everything :-) I have several friends in the wine industry who talk about 'hoak' barrels. The lisping hypercorrection for 'th' is much less common in my experience.

Nice breakdown of the KEDO situation... and it all boils down to those good old basics of sorting out who shares the playground; mutual respect and trust. Valuable, but slippery commodities. Bob and Sophie could teach the world a thing or two. YAM xx
I think Trump considers "American skin in the game" to be holding off implementing additional sanctions.
