Remarkable
We pause on our beach walk so that Sophie can examine a razor clam. I tell my companion that her fur is looking 'remarkable'. Thankfully, she takes this as a compliment.

I like older dogs, they will respond to anything said in a kind tone of voice. Such a sweetie.

Students returning from summer break often sport such a look. Proud as peacocks about it too.
