That which is called firmness in a king is called obstinacy in a donkey.

Bob continues to grow. Can he really be a full head taller than his sister ? Surely he can't get much bigger ?

After dinner  the PON duo were introduced to coconut ice cream. The bowls licked until every molecule has been removed and savoured. They turn in for the night , contentment written on their muzzles.'' This is what life is all about Sophie ! ".

For the last two weeks a large hedgehog has been wandering across the lane, into the garden and onto the lawn . When the wind is blowing in the right direction the presence of this prickly intruder drives the two little angels into paroxysms of howling. How can they smell a hedgehog 100 metres away through a thick chestnut door ? Hedgehogs  must be very malodorous .

Yep...we don't know about hedgehogs, but we know other intruders. The smell comes in under the door.

What is Bob 'wearing' in the first picture?

Ahhh, at long last the coconut ice cream. Bob and Sophie are obviously and rightly overjoyed to have landed where they are. As to your previous post, we are, indeed, so lucky to have dogs!

just a thought...
wonder if puppy bob is going to turn into a full fledged english sheep dog!!! LOL. oh. but that would be impossible. since they both came from the same litter. i guess he's just a strappin' big boy!
i delight in these pictues.

Wonderful photos today Angus.
Oh my I can taste the coconut ice cream just from looking at Bob's tongue.....the legacy lives on.
They can smell the hedgehog several metres away just like how my boy Brownie can smell the monkeys headed our way ages before they put in an appearance.

If it wasn't for his unmistakeable PON traits we'd also be thinking that we'd been sold an Old English.

We Love reading the adventures each and every day now!! (Thanks to Jack's Dad we found your blog) Yogi is now thinking that Ice Cream "might" be the way to go for his after dinner treats! (But no, he's on diet food) The pictures are beautiful and we so delight in the daily blog. Ahhhhh, to be in France and Not Ohio. (It's been Hot!)

Please give Sophie and Bob a good scratch from us!!

Love,
Yogi and his Mom

Hedgehogs are pretty aromatic! I don't blame them for howling.

Ice cream is considered ambrosia of the gods here at our house.

Bob has a very Wallace (of Wallace and Gromit) type expression in that photo. Adorable, and rather unique!

Ah, coconut ice cream. Memories.

I would be fighting the PONs for coconut ice cream - it's one of my favourites!
