A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

In adversity therefore o traveller, be not so much dismayed for piety may surmount a rugged road.
Bob and Sophie collected from the kennels. Bob seems to have enjoyed himself. Or, if not enjoyed , at least coped with the ordeal . He was in no hurry to leave. Sophie by contrast was out of her pen and into the back of the car at the speed of light. A bit of a cut under one eye. Probably the result of some rough and tumble with her brother.
The two of them spent an hour digging up the garden and have now fallen into a deep sleep. In fact it's not so much sleep as a coma. Their joy at being home is enough to light up the sky.
Happiness like this too inconsequential to be put in a diary but too important to be forgotten.

A bit past 02:00 in the morning here on the Westcoast of Canada………bedtime delayed until word that the Darling Duo had indeed been sprung from prison, and were home safe and sound and happy again on their own turf. With their own flock. Sounds like all is well. All of us who care so
much about them…….can sigh with a deep breath of relief. Do let us know that the cut near Sophie's eye is nothing to fret about. So glad you are all reunited! Good Night.
They will know that if there is a next time, that you will be returning.
I imagine they haven't slept well over the last few days, bless their noses.
I am glad you are all back together.
Teena & Merlin.

The first time is always the worst.
bonjour, une nouvelle expérience qui finie bien pour bob et sophie.
Tous les chiens n'ont pas cette chance.
Bonne journée dans votre jolie vie.
Glad to hear the PON pack is safe and happily back together.
So many first with puppies !
Sophie looks a bit shocked on the first fotos - poor darlings... Back home. Heaven. Comunal bliss. I am sure you both were thinking of the Duo - even crossing paths with Hugh and Duchess parents. Have a great day and a special welcome home dinner! Susanne, Daisy, Kiri and Dandy plus exiled Leo (cat who opens the fridge) - he is not tolerated by Kiri
Perhaps the altercation over Sophie's eye came when Bob was trying to talk her into enjoying her stay at the kennel and she wasn't having ANY of it!
Jo
wise to build up to the longer stay in the kennels when you go abroad.
i hope the cut WAS from a little rough housing with her brother... if not... maybe one of the reason's she was so eager to get out of there!
always so glad when you're at home. LOLOL. i'm like an old dog i guess. want my pack all together. :D
Woof Bob and Sophie!
Sorry I haven't been checking out your blog for a while. You guys seem to be doing great! I can't tell who is who?
Love,
Homer
Hooray! All's well with the world. The clan is reunited.
I'm sure the cut came from Bob rather than anywhere else. Believe me I worried , briefly.
More likely Sophie was trying to eat Bobs breakfast. He's a bit of a dreamer at breakfast.
We have got to an age where the antics of actors and the 'grand' only mildly interest us. Dogs, however, are always approachable.
All is well.
Ahhhhh, home. The pack is together again.
XXXOOO Bella &Roxy
Glad you guys are back home at the ROF....all safe and sound with your flock.
Cut!! Brother Bob, sharp edges or another dog? Not confidence inspiring. I hope all is well. Maybe a detour to the vet who should be able
to easily determine laceration by
tooth or share object. Forgive our
anxiety. We love them like they were
our own. Give Sophie some extra pampering for us.
Hope you had a good trip.
Happy the flock is together again.
Agreed. Must have a Vet look at it. I've heard lots and lots of stories of kennels. Sophie shot out of there, and into the safety of her family-car, for good reason. They never lie to us when something is wrong. Take good care, and we send love to her.
Welcome home PONs!
