A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

Joy without limit.
It starts to snow before breakfast. It then carries on snowing.
After some initial uncertainty Sophie overcomes her shock and is soon quite at home in the freezing conditions.
Her big brother thinks it's great fun to try to catch the snowflakes in his mouth. He's told this is daft. It doesn't bother him . '' I'm a dog. It's what I do ".
The two of them hurtle round the garden all day like supercharged fiends. Life lived at high speed, ears flying. No time for an afternoon nap. Snow triggers something in their DNA. After dinner Bob stands by the gate waiting for his lost sheep to return. He comes in reluctantly. His sister is already asleep in front of the fire.
Ten minutes rug surfing and then he's in bed and snoring by ten. More snow forecast for tomorrow. Angus hopes the rapidly shrinking store of dog towels will last.
One of those 'unimportant' days with dogs recorded here because it's generated too much laughter to be completely forgotten.

Snow! Lovely photos of the PONs - they really look as though they are in their natural element. It's no good Angus, you are just going to have to learn how to use the washing machine and dryer - can't let 'The Font' come home to a pile of dirty towels - and two wet dogs. We don't get snow here, so it's nice to see it in pictures, and know that we won't get our paws frozen!
The good thing about fresh snow.....wet, but NO mud. Maybe the towels just need to be dried.
PON paradise. OF course it's OK to catch snowflakes in your mouth.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Where did all that snow come from so suddenly...I was remarking to myself that your weather was still quite nice at this time of the year.
Bob and Sophie sure do know how to enjoy themselves in the snow...the photos made me smile.
Bob daft? Nooooooo way.......he is enjoying himself catching snowflakes in his mouth, I think it's so cute.
Give them both a hug for me.
YIPPEEEEEEE - you got snow! Isn't it the most fun stuff in the whole wide world! Have fun, Bob and Sophie!
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
Merlin is jealous.
Lovely photos. The light is magical.

and we're SO grateful it's recorded here. ♥
I love watching dogs in snow but sadly we're only getting 87 flakes at a time which only makes for soggy walkies and is useless for snow play
The first snow brings out the best in all beasts! So worth the smiles, isn't it?
Yes snow, enjoy it.
There is simply nothing better.
