Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Sophie's hair is luxuriantly long. Her harness is visible from some angles but quite covered by fur from others. Come the warmer weather she is going to have a 'major' haircut. This will hopefully make her look more aerodynamic.

The new dispensing machines in the cafe under the arcades have been set up on aluminium tables and carefully arranged in front of the local rugby clubs ( limited ) collection of trophies. The cafe owner says that the original plan was to have three Pringles dispensers but at the last minute '' I made the decision to go for one potato chip machine and two mixed nuts ". This would be a difficult conversation to make sense of at any time of the day but is particularly difficult at 8 am. The cafe owner senses mild bewilderment and repeats the story.

Angus had been labouring in the belief that the question of the upstairs kitchen had been put to rest. Sadly not. It seems the builders are only coming to rip out the old kitchen. The issues of choosing a replacement and having it fitted have yet to be addressed.

The afternoon is spent the fancy kitchen makers atelier. He wears red trousers and has the polished air of one of Louis XIV's courtiers. 'The Font' and the red trousered man talk at length about oak finishes. When the conversation moves onto stainless steel sinks it's time for Bob and Sophie to be taken for an extended walk.

Perhaps he know his clientel and NUTS are preferred.

Why must a harness be seen?

I don't think I've ever seen a pringles dispensing machine.
We're doing stairs redesign at home, my husband seems to have the same low boredom threshold as you Angus, is it a man thing?

Perhaps the Pringles dispensing machine is something peculiarly French - we've never seen one either. They don't exactly exude Gallic chic do they? Think we'd be puzzled by the conversation about the last minute choice of two nut machines, too, but it's obviously of much importance to the café owner. Hope they sell well.

Sophie is a girl, and girls (even girl dogs) are supposed to have luxuriantly long hair, and we're not sure it matters if her harness can be seen. Just a question of finding it to take it off!

How fortunate that the tax appraiser showed up prior
to the kitchen remodel being completed.

Sophie certainly has an unique look. Purple is definitely her color. Will Bob get a haircut too?
