A hearty good morning.

Village excitement levels are at fever pitch. Someone has bumped into one of the telegraph poles that carry the internet line. It slants at a jaunty thirty degree angle. A team of workmen in hi-vis jackets have arrived and are standing in a circle discussing what they intend to do. Farmers stop their white vans to chat to them and offer advice. Internet service alternates between being non-existent and glacially slow. In the meantime here's Sophie wishing everyone a hearty good morning.

SOPHIE's alert steely eye shows that she is on top of the situation. Nothing gets past the resident PONette. Wishing SOPHIE a hearty good morning as well. And wishing ANGUS to be devoid of the 'twinges.' Good Morning from the Westcoast of Canada......which is Good Night for us.

Sophie seems undisturbed about the loss of the Internet - leaves more time for people to pay attention to her, as well they should.

A hearty good morning to you all, too, at the ROF, from us here in a sunny, but slightly chilly, Spain. Does the jaunty angle of the internet pole mean that it's about to fall down, or can it be righted - with the help of all that advice from the local population?

I trust this will not interfere with our daily fix - brava, Mlle Sophie, for getting Angus to send us this one image of you at least!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

And a good morning to you Sophie. A thoroughly excellent one in fact!

Ah, Sophie, I would sorely miss you if you hadn't been able to post. We, in SE USA, find that our "Family View Cable" goes out at the slightest excuse (wind, rain, a tiny bit of snow, too may users online at the same time). And should a Clemson Univ football game be in the offing, forget any repairs (the owner is a rabid fan). Fortunately, there are now alternatives.

Angus, did Doctor #2 mention how long to expect the twinges to go on?
Just wondering. You must be exhausted.

Every time I see photos of the road you and Sophie walk on, I want to be there to walk my dogs. The pretty views and lack of traffic (generally) remind me of south west New Hampshire, although many of the road we walked there were dirt. I remain surprised that we now live in a relatively rural area in SE USA, where the road remain too busy to enjoy a pleasant walk.

We walk our dog in the town where the "Cathedral of the Pines" is. We live on a dirt road there. I don't know how long it's been since you were here but things are built up now. Our scenery will never be as beautiful as Sophie's.
Oh, this in for dog lovers: mud season is early this year. ;-)
