Prudence.

Later this morning  'The Font 'will be talking Sophie to the vet for a quick check-up. Both of us have noticed she's been drinking a lot and sleeping longer than usual. Eyes and gums full of colour, appetite healthy, everything else in order. Probably nothing but after the events of late last year dog owners prudence.

Certainly no lack of PONette energy as we head off to pick up the morning croissants. The little market square empty

.... but there are pork sausages straight out of the oven.

On our tour of the village we see that the old farmers house is being worked on. Can it be that the son is moving in ? Or, perhaps the roof is so bad he's having it mended before selling it on ? It's been standing empty for nearly two years now.

We hope all is well with Miss Sophie - nothing a bit of sausage will not fix. Enjoy your day. It is a balmy 12 deg C here, and we hear a warmer 18deg C in Antarctica, the world has gone topsy turvey we think.

Also hoping for good news from the vet.

Hmmm. As a human physician I would be investigating for possible diabetes. But I'll leave that to your vet. Putting up a little POTP for Mlle Sophie that this is just a phase... For her prudent owners' sake as much as for her! YAM xx

Hope the vet doesn't find anything serious.

Probably nothing but Wild had diabetes and similar symptoms.

Thanks. Her enthusiasm for sausage makes us optimistic.

Certainly hoping all is well with Sophie. Prudence is wise. Perhaps some of those pork sausages might make their way to Sophie?
