Knock on the sky and listen to the sound.

Bob heads off to the cycle track with ' the font ' while Sophie comes with me to observe progress on the billionaires garage.  The huge blue crane now towering over the chateau gatehouse. The tunneling equipment in place to start digging out the hillside. How ever did they manage to get planning permission for something this intrusive? Angus suspects there must have been a little ' greasing of the wheels ' somewhere along the line.

Heavy. The cloud trapping in the heat. The two little angels are chased out of the kitchen by a mop wielding Caroline. Through the afternoon the sound of combines hastily trying to get in the sunflower harvest before the rains come. Bob and Sophie take up position by the far gate where they can greet the farmers as they roll by.

I swear that gate's smile gets broader every day - mind you so do ours reading about our two furry heroes :-)

Have fun x

I think you could be right about the ' greasing of the wheels ' Angus--Next time Madame Bay visits, you'll have to ask her, I've a feeling she'll know some juicy little tidbit.

Even at this stage, the sunflower fields have are still beautiful.

Quite a few pots of grease were needed from the look of things. Hope the work moves along in an expeditious manner. The worksite
does not add to the beauty and
tranquility of the village although it
will be quite the topic of conversation, we're sure.

I'm having an Open House this afternoon on behalf of the hounds. I'm sure, in PON fashion ala Bob and Sophie, many hounds will greet visitors in full voice behind (hopefully) the fence. The crane is quite obtrusive in your wee village.

Bob and Sophie are alert on the job! The sunflowers look a bit woe-begone. I like that view of the stone wall and pond by the Infamous Kiln. Sophie fits in beautifully there.
