Too mush.

Six thirty. It may be dark outside but this doesn't hold back the angelic duo. They know beyond any doubt that today is going to be the best day ever ..... by far.

We turn out of the gate and head along the lane. Sophie soon finds something that once had a tail in the drainage ditch. It's in a fairly advanced stage of decomposition. She trots along with it between her jaws. Her brother can only marvel at her good fortune.

The local burger restaurant has come up with its new monthly special. Burger, parma ham , mushrooms, apple, red onion and  cream cheese. This comes in two sizes. Classic and big.

We return home to watch the rugby from Japan. Sophie digs up a hidden piece of Madame Bays air dried tripe and settles down in the courtyard while her brother and Angus are otherwise engaged. Fermented vole and now air dried tripe ! Has ever a girls day begun so well ?

This made Angus v happy : https://www.rugbyworldcup.com/video/507317

And I'm convinced these kids sing with a Scots accent : https://www.bbc.com/sport/av/rugby-union/49932935

I have a vision of Sophie pushing a button and ordering the yogurt pot to refill itself. Not quite sure I'm ready for talking dogs - we already have a talking parrot who causes endless mischief with her talents. She does a perfect doorbell and a perfect Cherry barking on the balcony to be let into the house, and she can call me in a perfect imitation of my daughter's voice. She also does a very good "Cherry, come!", but somehow, unlike the rest of us, Cherry never falls for it.

Congratulations on the Russia match. Our typhoon is moving more quickly than expected and is now set to hit the Yokohama area around 5 p.m. on Saturday, so everything should be fine again by Sunday evening.

Oh that mush burger sounds disgusting. it is a shame that the typhoon has meant cancelled rugby games.

The kids seem pretty happy with the rugby players visiting.

I guess I'm a "classic burger gal." Lunch yesterday with a co-worker at "Five Guys" was a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, etc. But even that, I'm sure wouldn't trump Sophie's delectable fermented vole and air dried tripe - At least not to her.

I cannot believe nobody has commented on the carrot ketchup in the Indian Summer, which looks to be a "buddha bowl." If buddha bowls are now to be found in the wilds of Gers, they clearly are passé.
Mush/Much seems to be linked to the French pronunciation of ch like sh--the way that chips are pronounced "sheep." I guess the misspelling makes it all the more French, as if crème de fourme weren't enough proof.

A buddha bowl it most certainly is not. A very confused Greek salad, maybe. Yxx (Who commented loudly up top about it.)
