Bravery.

Life is never dull. This morning there is a large piece of agricultural machinery to be examined. Sophie also discovers that after a field has been ploughed the seagulls arrive 'en masse' to grub for bugs. There is nothing quite as much fun as hurtling into a flock of seagulls and seeing them fly off. This is done four times before she tires of it. After breakfast Sophie settles in her 'zen' spot by the acer to dream of brave deeds.

I can imagine that chasing seagulls might be even more fun (certainly noisier) than chasing pigeons.

Wait till those fields are tilled, Sophie dear... the worms and grubs will be having those flocks into a feeding frenzy. Nearly as good as following a fishing boat. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

What fun Sophie!

Surprised to hear that an Acer is doing well up there. Good to know.

Have a great day.

Running through a flock of birds, crunching through freshly fallen leafs, so much joy. That is a big plow.

Sophie is a country girl through and through. Is there any news of her former village in France?

Hope you and ‘The Font’ did not have any side effects from the flu and Covid jabs yesterday.

I wonder how soon those seagulls will get the message and move on! That's one fearsome piece of machinery and Sophie is a very brave girl to examine it so closely.

That is an ominous sky in the last photo! Yes, how did the jabs go?
