ANGUS: What species of plants are........uh hum, rather WERE..........the plants in Video #2 ? They haven't a chance with the "oh-so-shy" SOPHIE. She was just waiting to show her stuff, on her very own turf, with her very own family. And boy - she has not disappointed. We are all in love. As for BOB - we all loved him from the start. He and his sister keep upping the charm factor. We are all smitten. Can you imagine life without the two of them! I think not. I used to love the saying: "Less is more." Now I love "More is more." Keep it coming. Thank you so much! EDENA, in Canada.
You grow very good battlefields!! Someone once said to me - you either have small kids/dogs OR pretty gardens, can't be "and" ;)
I knew, even before you got them, that Sophie wasn't all that shy and angelic. Well, she IS angelic. I bet, when she gets the knack of it, she will blame Bob for aaaall kinds of things!
Still, they are SO lovely that I can't wait each morning for the next post.
Another thing you have to do with earthworms is to throw yourself down on top of them and roll. It gets you all slimy and yucky and it's great fun! We loved your videos!
Complete, absolute freedom in a huge, sun-filled, gorgeous garden or constrained in a harness...let me think about that choice?!! Who said dogs were silly?
if you even bother to pay attention to something called stats ... i'll be skewing them probably. because i have to come back again and again throughout the day to see these babies at play. they just do me good angus. they do me good. xo
I love how they dive bomb the plants. The moves look like they are designed for maximum destruction. You two are very tolerant gardeners. I suppose the live-in cartoon characters make up for the flattened greenery.
I love starting my day with Bob and Sophie....they sure are having a great time in the garden. They will soon get the hang of catching lizards...just give them a chance. Brownie has been staking out a large lizard that lives under the cellar, and any day now I will find it dead on the patio when I open the door.
An entire yard to play in but the best place? In the plants. Good to see dogs are the same the world over. Love the videos. I check on Bob and Sophie the minute I get to work (as do most of my friends now). Always a lovely way to start the day.
Oh, what fun! Two romping puppies tearing around the rickety old farmhouse. They are just a delight. Though with their love of munching all things herbaceous, perhaps you got a pair of PONies instead of just PONs?

Love the rough and tumble in the second video!
Lillies. There is always next year for the lillies, the irises and the peonies .

Bwaaaaa ha ha ha! The harnesses! It looks like it took them exactly thirty seven seconds to flatten those plants! I love watching them in action.
Forget the thirty. Seven seconds should just about do it !
Before coffee. Before toast. Before the morning paper. The overnight latest from Bob and Sophie.
Two siblings who have their own thoughts about how best to spend the day. Harnesses? "We don't need no stinking harnesses!"
