A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter .
It's starting to get hot now. Our first 80 degree day of the year. Puppies and owner are up and out early to make the most of the cool air. An acclimitisation trip to the bakers followed by a long , well deserved, doze under the shade of a palm tree.
After breakfast Sophie clambers up on top of the small, low rise, cabin that houses the pool pump . She soon finds that this makes a perfect launch pad for attacks on her brother. Brother and sister spend a full half hour playing this game . Sophie leaps, Bob gets flattened . Sophie leaps. Bob gets flattened . Sophie leaps ..... The hyacinths that have been planted round the little cabin are quickly decapitated . '' They'll grow again next year " says ' the font ' echoing a line used by puppy owners throughout history.
Late on Sunday evening Monsieur Bongo , the drain man , phones. '' I've had a cancellation M'Ongoose. I'll start on your blockage on Tuesday ". He then repeats himself but adds the line " It's your lucky day ". Angus can't help but wonder how many people would consider a visit fom the drain man to be their ' lucky day ' .

Msr. Bongo. A treat for the pups.
I wonder how Sophie is going react when the pool cover is removed?
Have a great day.

An acclimatisation trip to the bakers! It should be in all the puppy training manuals,
Sophie has already been on the pool cover. Being in the pool can only be a matter of time.
I'm looking forward to hearing about their reaction to the ride on mower! That Sophie is quite the adventurer.
It seems a paltry lucky day. We'd love to go to the baker's but we have to stay in the car and no one brings us water and croissants. We live in such an uncivilised country!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Another 3am day for husband to catch an early flight. These adorable pictures do get the laughter started despite the still dark hour.
Can't wait fot the next round!!!
Poor Bob, being taken advantage of by his sister, but I think he likes it. He's a gentleman, so he doesn't mind.
Hope Mr.Bongo shows up as promised, and make it your lucky day.
I'm still waiting on my plumber who promised he was coming by last week Tuesday. Wonder when my lucky day will be?
Ha ha ha! Mr. Bongo has quite an inflated view of himself!
I can just picture Sophie learning this great new game. It sounds like one they'll be playing for a long time!
It is the shy ones that you have to watch. Sophie is turning into a real firecracker. I wonder if she will continue to favour the pool pump roof and sleep up there like a PON snoopy.
Looks like Ms Sophie is claiming alpha dog status?
I'd forgotten what a blue sky looks like
At one time we had a sibling pair of goldens. She was the quiet, retiring kind...or so we thought. Turned out he had the brawn but she had the brains (typical :-)). Cannot tell you how much trouble she got him into. One incident comes to mind - she showed him how easy it was to pull the pachysandra out of the ground and then sat and watch him denude the entire patch. Guess who got the scolding?
You go, Sophie!
I love The Font.
i love people who love puppies. and who let them be all they're meant to be. and actually enjoy the journey!
i agree with pamela.
and m'ongoose... my main man. xo
I think it will be your "lucky day" if indeed Monsieur Bongo comes when he says he will!
I hope you and the little mischief makers have had another laughter filled day!
Oh myyyy..I'm in love :) I'm so enjoying your puppies :D Thank you for blogging this journey!!!!
With Bob and Sophie's antics everyday is your lucky day!
Thanks for making me smile this morning.
I've just learned about the bombings in Boston. I needed to see Sophie the mischievous one and Bob the thinker/foil. A lovely laugh on a sad day.
That Sophie surprises me! She is a daredevil when it comes to some things like climbing, jumping, and playing with her brother. She's a sweetie!
I hope that your lucky day was indeed lucky!
My plumber actually showed up for me!
Hope Mr.Bongo did for you too.
Fingers crossed the drain man makes an appearance. Those two pups are just the best, aren't they? We'd like to babysit!
