Restoration comedy.
The angelic duo safely collected from the k-e-n-n-e-l-s.
Bob insists on going everywhere I go. Through the night he wanders into the (out of bounds ) bedroom every hour to check I've not gone off again.
Sophie adopts a rather more miffed '' I haven't forgiven you for leaving me '' approach.
They've found their flock, they're in their own home and the standard of cuisine has improved. The garden is now being checked for c-a-t-s. Soon we shall head off on the morning croissant run. Definitely the best day ever.
In Beijing vast flowerbeds of plastic tulips.
Why do Chinese policemen always walk in line ?
Sunday afternoon head ware.
No trip to Asia is complete without the humorous warning signs.
Outside the Raffles Hotel more cheerful plastic flowers. This approach to gardening certainly cuts down on weeding.

Welcome home all! Everything is back to normal we see - as it should be. I realised that you (ANGUS) and the PONS are part (a big part) of our
daily routine.......and when you leave for a while, well.......you are sorely missed. Something is always missing - as you are the last thing we read
before going to bed for the night. So, again - WELCOME HOME! Can you blame BOB for checking on you each and every hour......we can't blame him one bit. Have a lovely first day home! From the Westcoast of Canada.
Welcome back!
Something very incongruous about the serious looking women in winter coats wearing delicate pink flower on their heads amid the all the traffic and concrete buildings. No frolicking going on there.
It's great to have you, Bob and Sophie back. My morning routine is back to normal :) Welcome home
Hari OM
... also water-preserving, given the numbers of 'beds'? Oh it is good to see Bob and Sophie back in place... YAM xx
I much prefer your rustic spring garden. I am not a fan of plastic flowers.
So pleased to see Bob and Sophie back. You too 007.
I knew there would be photos of the PONS sitting among the English daisies, but I am surprised to see so many roses in bloom. Time for 'wisteria watch.'
Like everyone else, delighted to have you safely back.
Mmmmmm, my coffee is much sweeter this morning, with Bob and Sophie home!
Oh, those roses, oh my! Sophie looks quite angelic with her "crown" of roses. I'm sure that won't last.
On Chinese policemen walking in line: Perhaps because their training is that of the military?
I am glad normal service has resumed and the angelic duo are back to their routine too!
I'm wondering if the plastic tulips keep people from picking them??
As far as humorous warning signs go, I'm afraid I've got you beat, Angus. If you have a moment, you will have to glance at my March 22nd post at a photo I took while at the hospital that day.
Not roses, I suspect, but glorious peonies. They are just wonderful. Glad you're back.
