Three weeks notice.
The good weather has returned. It's forecast to be in the low 20's today.
The PONs are ready for their early morning tour of the village.
Bob wonders why Angus is so slow in getting ready. PONs it must be said have very readable faces.
At the supermarket a burgundy I've never heard of - Maranges. No time like the present to buy a bottle - for purely educational reasons.
There is also in the ''exotics' section a Uruguayan wine and some cheerful looking Tunisian plonk which is described on the bottle as being 'intense and fruity'. This is probably a fair insight as to what lies within.
After the unexpected appearance of the carpet fitter we wait for the builders/joiner/gardeners/electricians to make an appearance.
Later this morning we're off to find a new insurance agent for The Rickety Old Farmhouse. The British company that has provided cover for the last ten years has written to say that because of Brexit they will no longer be able to help us. At least they've given us three weeks notice.

That photo of the Pons looking back at you is awesome. As you say - very readable faces. Cloudy, spitting and 17 degrees here. Sounds like you are going to have a hot dry summer if it is so warm already.
I agree - great picture! You can almost hear the "C'mon already, let's go!".
PON faces - readable and SO endearing.

With the insurance reshuffle looming, perhaps some Sidi Brahim will be more welcome than anticipated?! YAM xx
We had what we thought was great house insurance with Groupama. No problems--of course not: we paid on time, and never made a claim. Then someone drove into our gate. A neighbor had seen a guy parked in front of our place, passed out drunk. On waking he likely put it in forward gear rather than reverse and plowed into the gate--nobody saw that moment and we were out of town. Huge metal gate, with a motor, knocked off the rails. Very expensive to repair. The insurer said it wasn't a break-in--the house wasn't touched. Thus it was vandalism and not covered.
You don't find out how good your insurance is until you try to make a claim. We switched to Maif, but you have to be invited/introduced. Surely you have connections.
Please share with your wife that we just finished watching Rise Upon The Storm - off the web for U.S. viewers. The strange thing was that the Danish voice and video and English subtitles started off in sinc but as time went on the Danish voice raced ahead, the English subtitles less ahead than the video. We watched anyway and look forward to season two. Thanks for mentioning it - we love foreign (to us) series.
